The Anjana Ghosh Memorial Social Welfare Trust (AGMSWT), established in 2008, is dedicated to empowering communities in the land where we live by addressing social obstacles and improving socio-economic conditions. Our work focuses on healthcare, women's empowerment, livelihood generation, and education, impacting millions over the past three years.
In healthcare, we're revolutionizing access through initiatives like Mobile Medical Units, TB elimination programs, and vision care, aligned with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being). Our women's empowerment programs, including Self-Help Groups, promote gender equality (SDG 5) by fostering economic self-reliance.
AGMSWT's commitment extends to ensuring safe motherhood and reducing maternal and neonatal mortality, contributing to SDG 3. By fostering self-sufficiency and resilience, we're building a future of sustainable development.
With a 35.3% beneficiary growth rate (2021–24) and gender-balanced impact (60.5% female reach), AGMSWT combines community-centric models with systemic advocacy to create catalytic change.

AGMSWT delivers critical healthcare services, from TB elimination to maternal care and vision initiatives, reaching underserved populations and transforming lives through improved well-being.

AGMSWT empowers women through Self-Help Groups and programs focused on economic independence, skill development, and leadership, fostering gender equality and community change.

AGMSWT creates pathways to self-sufficiency by providing training and resources that enable individuals to build sustainable livelihoods and break cycles of poverty.

AGMSWT empowers youth from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) by providing skill development, enabling access to education, and supporting placement or entrepreneurship.

"Before the SHG, I was confined to my home. Now, I run a thriving tailoring business! AGMSWT in Sutahata Block, Purba Medinipur, gave me skill training, a loan, and confidence. My children are in school, and I have a voice. This change is incredible!"

"TB had taken my hope. AGMSWT's support in Basirhat Block, North 24 Parganas, was a lifeline. Free check-ups and regular follow up visit by AGMSWT didis ensured that I completed treatment. Now, I'm healthy and back at work. I am grateful for this second chance."
National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP)
"Lost and scared at the hospital, I was about to return home when a Rogi Sahayak guided me through tests, doctor visits, and paperwork - all for free. My harnia surgery happened within days. They treated me like family, not just a patient."
Rogi Sahayata Kendra (RSK)
"Living in Onda Block, Bankura, healthcare was distant. The MMU brought doctors to us. The mobile clinic saved my daughter's life when she had severe pneumonia. With no hospital nearby, we'd have lost her. The doctor treated her on the spot and followed up until recovery. Now, our entire village waits for the AGMSWT dads and didis every month."
Mobile Medical Units (MMU)
"At 17, pregnant and terrified, the Waiting Hut became my safe haven. Nurses monitored me daily, and when complications arose, they rushed me to surgery. My baby and I survived because of their care. Now I advise every young mother to go there."
Waiting Hut for Pregnant Women
"When labor pains started at midnight during floods, Nischay Yaan's ambulance reached our waterlogged village in 30 minutes. The driver carried me through waist-deep water. My son was born safely at the hospital without this service, we wouldn't have made it."

"My eyesight was failing. AGMSWT's free eye check-up in Mahesail Panchayat, Murshidabad, and glasses changed everything. Now, I can read and see my grandchildren. Thank you AGMSWT for giving back my vision!"
